Andrea Nuñez-gamboa

Originally from Mexico, Andrea has a bachelor’s degree in Cultural Management in Mexico City. She completed an MA in Arts Administration at Columbia University in New York where she developed a deep commitment to contemporary art and to the fundraising and institutional strategies that make artistic work possible. Her work has spanned Mexico City, New York, and Los Angeles at prestiges organizations including ART21, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Museo de Arte Moderno, where she strengthened her dedication in supporting artists and the ecosystems around them. She is currently the Associate Director, Principal Gifts at California Institute of the Arts, where she partners with foundations and individual donors to support art production and scholarships. Based in Los Angeles, she welcomes the opportunity to contribute to the local arts community and help artists and arts professionals thrive.
