EstrellaTV Resumes Production on Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento

Longest Running Spanish-language Talent Competition Show In The U.S. Makes Comeback With New Set Design And Strict Safety Protocols

Burbank, CA, — EstrellaTV announced today that it has resumed production of their longest running Spanish-language talent competition show, Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento, putting in place the new COVID-19 safety protocols across the board and in the new show set design.

Following California’s recently issued COVID-19 Best Practices Guide for Television and Film and the CDC’s recommended safety guidelines, the network has established rigorous sanitary, social distancing and safety measures to resume production of its #1 hit series Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento, which has been modified to adapt to the current health crisis.

The design of a new closed set on Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento reflects the newly adopted social distancing standards with safety as a top priority, adding limited access to production staff and essential personnel only. The set features innovative virtual screens to accommodate a remote audience and contestants’ family members’ participation via video conferencing technology. The new look, along with the added virtual audience element is both fun and impressive.

“Our new set design follows strict social distancing guidelines, and we are taking every possible measure to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all those involved in making this show, said Ivan Stoilkovich, EVP, Television Programming at EstrellaTV. “Ensuring the safety of our crew, talent and contestants has always been of utmost importance to EstrellaTV.

Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento is Estrella’s longest running show with a panel of judges which includes singer and TV personality Chiquis (I Love Jenni), composer and music producer  Pepe Garza, recording artist Ana Barbara and popular TV and radio personality Don Cheto.   Luis Coronel continues as host for the talent competition.

New quarter final episodes started airing Thursday, July 8, and will continue airing M-F 8P/7P C on EstrellaTV.

Estrella Media, one of the largest producers of Spanish-language television content in the U.S., owns and operates the national Estrella Network, producing over 2,500 hours annually of original news and entertainment programming at their studios in Burbank, CA.
