Rodri J. Rodriguez, creator, producer, and host of MARIACHI USA announced the Festival’s 30 Year Anniversary celebration is set to ignite the stage on June 22nd at the iconic Hollywood Bowl in the heart of Hollywood, California.
This year, MARIACHI USA is especially momentous because it marks the thirtieth year that the veteran concert producer hosts the second largest running show at the historic venue, making it the longest running paid Latino event in the US. Additionally, each year Rodriguez raises the bar even higher by breaking attendance records and making MARIACHI USA the most spectacular American music festival honoring the best of Mariachi music from the USA and Mexico.
“It has been such a privilege to produce an annual event that pays homage to a cherished cultural tradition,” stated Rodriguez. “It’s a multi-generational celebration, where families come together to share in the music, memories and overall experience!”
MARIACHI USA’s 30th year anniversary extravaganza line-up includes Mariachi Cobre, Mariachi Nuevo Tecalitlan, Mariachi Campanas de America, Mariachi Los Reyes, Mariachi Femenil Nuevo Tecalitlan, Mariachi Nuevo Mujer 2000, Mi Tierra Ballet Folklorico. Not to be missed is the annual fireworks finale by Pyro Spectaculars, which will deliver an epic fireworks show in honor of MARIACHI USA’s 30th anniversary.
“We have gone to great lengths to ensure that our 30th anniversary celebration will be enjoyed by all—young and new fans, as well as our loyal fans that we’ve had the pleasure of entertaining for years,” added Rodriguez. “We are committed to producing a cutting-edge show that weaves the traditional with the contemporary, making it a celebration of family, pride, and tradition.”
Pre-concert Bowl Plaza festivities, hosted by Rodri of Rodri Entertainment, include performances by the MARIACHI USA Foundation, sampling of treats and fun games provided by event sponsors from 1 pm till 5:30 pm. The show begins promptly at 6 pm and fireworks at 10:40 pm.
Parking is limited at the Bowl, fans are encouraged to use the Bowl Park & Ride and Shuttle.
