Blackpink and Selena Gomez team up on the highly awaited single Ice Cream, off of Blackpink’s debut album releasing October 2nd.
The audio and visual released late Thursday night (August 27th), and both are nothing short of a fun time. Selena Gomez and Blackpink, a pop group from South Korea, take us into a fantasy world. Full of sweets, pretty pastel colors, fun makeup looks, and a wide range of styles.
Blackpink has continuously fed the music industry this year, as their release date for Blackpink: The Album is right around the corner. Earlier this year, they dropped their first single, How You Like That, and collaborated with superstar Lady Gaga on the song Sour Candy.
Gomez has had a prolific year, releasing her anticipated album Rare along with a deluxe version to it. She partnered with the Black Equality Fund to support those who are front and center of the movement. Announced “Rare Beauty,” a makeup line in collaboration with Sephora beauty, and recently renewed a second season of her hit cooking show with HBO, Selena + CHEF.
