‘Selena: The Series’ Trailer Is Finally Here

Premieres Monday, Dec. 4 on Netflix

The excitement is palpable for Selena: the Series about the life of the late Tejano singer Selena Quintanilla-Perez. Here today is a first look of the trailer that has social media a-buzz.

The series has been shooting for about a year and a half with a 5 month hiatus on shooting because of Covid, and is just wrapping up. The series begins airing on Monday, Dec. 4 on Netflix.

The two-part series of six hour-long episodes chronicles the singer’s short but impactful life. The world saw the story that ended with the tragic death of singer in the 1997 film Selena, starring Jennifer Lopez. Now it is Christian Serratos turn to play the Queen of Tejano music.
