Tune-In tonight to Watch Sosa Siblings Compete on SYTYCD
Monday, July 29, 2019
FOX, 9:00 PM/8:00 PM Central

On last Monday night’s So You Think You Can Dance on FOX, brother and sister, Ezra and Stephanie Sosa, became the first siblings in 16 years to make it to the top 20 in the Girls and Guys categories!

The Super Sosa Siblings, as they are affectionately called, started their journey on July 15th when they made it past the audition phase performing as dancing partners. Since then, they have been competing solo on
SYTYCD’s Academy Part 1.

Making it to the top 20, Ezra was over the moon with excitement! “The auditions in the Academy are a mind game. You need to be strong in order to keep it together,” he said backstage before his performance. Judge Nigel Lythgoe gave Ezra the reassurance he was looking for, when he praised the 17-year-old with words of encouragement, “Ezra you are a star!”

On tonight’s episode of SYTYCD, cuts will be made and the top 5 will be revealed! As the Sosa Sibling’s fans anxiously await to find out if the duo, who are competing against each other, will make history by making it into the top 5, Ezra and Stephanie are feeling the pressure, since no other siblings have ever made it that far in the competition.

“It would be a dream to have them both in the final top five,” admitted Enrique Sosa, the sibling’s father.

After the top 5 are chosen, each show will be broadcast live from the FOX Studios in Los Angeles and each dancer will be showcased with their solo performances. The audience voting process starts after the top 5 are announced and they begin to compete on a solo basis. This is when TV viewers will get the opportunity to call in their votes for their favorite dancer.

Will one of the Sosa sibling’s runaway with the coveted ultimate cash prize of $250,000? Given their performances each week, there is a good chance one of them will make it all the way.
