This year’s Sundance Film Festival will run from Jan. 28 through Feb. 3. and will be a combination of a virtual experience with some in-person satellite film screenings. Tickets for the individual screening will be $15 while a full festival pass will be $350.
Due to the pandemic, the festival will take place mainly online but also offer some in-person screenings in arthouse theatres, drive-ins, and parking lots located in over 20 cities nationwide and will all adhere to all local COVID-19 protocols, according to organizers.
The festival pass grants access to premiere screenings that include an interactive waiting room experience and live question-and-answer sessions with the film cast and crew afterwards, as well as on-demand second screenings. The festival pass also gives full access to on-demand programs like Award Winners, New Frontier, Short Films, and Indie Series
The in-person screening programs vary in participating cities, with Honolulu, Hawaii listing two and Tulsa, Oklahoma 13. Also offering in-person shows are Atlanta, Austin, Birmingham, Columbus, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Iowa City, Key West, Louisville, Memphis, Minneapolis, Montclair, Nashville, New Orleans, Pasadena, San Francisco, San Juan, and Tucson.

The day pass costs $75 and grants access to any program available to the full festival pass but only for one day.
