Oscar Nuñez co-stars alongside Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum in the upcoming comedy The Lost City, premiering March 23.

The Paramount Pictures film follows a brilliant, but reclusive author Loretta Sage (Bullock) who has spent her career writing about exotic places in her popular romance-adventure novels featuring handsome cover model Alan (Tatum), who has dedicated his life to embodying the hero character, Dash.

While on tour promoting her new book with Alan, Loretta is kidnapped by an eccentric billionaire (Daniel Radcliffe) who hopes that she can lead him to the ancient lost city’s treasure from her latest story. Wanting to prove that he can be a hero in real life and not just on the pages of her books, Alan sets off to rescue her. Thrust into an epic jungle adventure, the unlikely pair will need to work together to survive the elements and find the ancient treasure before it’s lost forever.

Cuban-born Nuñez worked with Bullock in another comedy produced by the Oscar-winning actress, The Proposal. In that romantic comedy, the Daytime Emmy winning actor played a hilarious character named Ramone who holds many jobs, including waiter, shopkeeper, minister and male stripper.

Bullock co-produces The Lost City along with Liza Chasin (About a Boy) and Seth Gordon (The Goldbergs). Directing are brothers Adam and Aaron Nee, the duo that helmed the 2015 indie crime comedy Band of Robbers. The siblings also co-wrote the screenplay for The Lost City along with Oren Uziel and Dana Fox, based on a story by Gordon.

Q’orianka Kilcher, the actress of Peruvian descent who appeared in Dora and the Lost City of Gold, will star opposite Channing Tatum in the upcoming comedy movie Dog. The film, which marks Tatum’s directorial debut, will premiere February 18.

Dog is a non-traditional buddy comedy in which the two friends are a man and a pooch, both with military backgrounds.

The film follows the misadventures of two former Army Rangers members paired against their will on the road trip of a lifetime. A tragedy brings together U.S. Army Ranger Briggs (Tatum) and Lulu, a Belgian Malinois, who must buckle into a 1984 Ford Bronco and race down the Pacific Coast to make it in time to the funeral of the soldier who was the dog’s handler and beloved companion. The trip is not easy for the two strong personalities who drive each other nuts, break a handful of laws, narrowly evade death and learn to let down their guards to have a fighting chance.

Kilcher will play Niki, an ex-partner of Tatum’s Briggs with whom she has a little daughter. Niki has raised the child by herself and is not ready to get back together with the army ranger.

The MGM feature is produced by Gregory Jacobs, Peter Kiernan, Brett Rodriguez, with the latter also sharing writing credits with Reid Carolin. Carolin also co-directs with Tatum.
