Written and directed by Dr. Jose-Luis Ruiz, The Dreamer Cinderella centers on Xochitl, a Mexican-American fruit vendor whose life is unexpectedly transformed when she becomes the focal point of a high-stakes bet between two rival film directors. Blending romance, social commentary, and industry satire, the film explores themes of ambition, visibility, and who gets to be seen—and valued—within Hollywood and beyond.

The film’s nationwide theatrical rollout underscores a growing appetite for culturally resonant, audience-driven independent cinema. Members of the media are invited to attend the red-carpet premiere and participate in exclusive interviews with cast and filmmakers, spotlighting the film’s message, cultural impact, and journey from grassroots development to wide theatrical release.
