The Tax Collector is an action thriller film written and directed by David Ayer. Introducing characters, David (Bobby Soto) and Creeper (Shia LaBeouf), who are “tax collectors” for the crime lord, Wizard—collecting his cut from the profits of local gangs’ illicit dealings. But when Wizard’s old rival returns to Los Angeles from Mexico, the business is upended. David finds himself desperate to protect what matters more to him than anything else: his family.
Also featured in the film are actors Cinthya Carmona, George Lopez, and Chelsea Rendon.
The Tax Collector will be distributed by RLJE Films plus in-theaters and found digitally on August 7, 2020.
