Gina Rodriguez leads the cast in the Netflix sci fi thriller Awake, set to premiere on June 9.

When Jill (Rodriguez), a former soldier, discovers her young daughter may be the key to salvation, she must decide: protect her children at all costs or sacrifice everything to save the world.
Rodriguez who rose to fame in the title role of the TV series Jane the Virgin, has starred in other Netflix Originals including the animated series Carmen Sandiego and Someone Great (2019). Arianna Greenblatt, who is of Puerto Rican descent, has made a splash in Hollywood at just 13 years old. Her credits include Avenger: Infinity War, Love and Monsters and The One and Only Ivan.
Other cast members include Lucius Hoyos, Frances Fisher, Shamier Anderson, Finn Jones, Gil Bellows, Barry Pepper and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
Awake is directed by Mark Raso (Kodachrome, Copenhagen) and will release on Wednesday, June 9, on Netflix.
