‘Women’s Stories’ Selects All Women Cast and Directors

Actresses Eva Longoria, Leonor Varela, Jaqueline Fernandez Among Cast

In an exclusive post, Deadline announced the main cast for the anthology feature film Women’s Stories. The segments will be directed by all-female directors and will feature an all-woman cast. Among the talent announced were Eva Longoria, Marcia Gay Harden, Leonor Varela, Jacqueline Fernandez, Margherita Buy, and Cara Delevinge.

Six segments will be shot in Italy, India and the U.S. by directors coming from different parts of the world. Four segments have been cast and the directors selected.

The selected directors to date include, Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight ) will direct the Elbows Deep segment with star model and actress Delevingne (Suicide Squad) and Oscar-winning actress Marcia Gay Harden (Pollock). The other directors include: Maria Sole Tognazzi (Me, Myself & Her) will direct Unspoken starring Italian actress Buy (My Mother); Lucia Puenzo (La Jauria) will direct Lagonegro which will star Longoria (TV’s Desperate Housewives,Overboard film); and Leena Yadav (Three Cards) will direct Sharing A Ride starring Bollywood actress Fernandez and transgender model Anjali Lama.

News on the remaining two other segments have not been announced.
