Judi Jordan

JUDI JORDAN Writer, Producer, Journalist, Designer A passionate Gemini with a restless imagination and entrepreneurial streak, Judi Jordan designed women's collections on New York's Seventh Avenue for Bergdorf's, Macy's and Bloomie's before Europe beckoned. In Paris on Faubourg St. Honore she worked at fabled houses; Balmain, Chloé during Karl Lagerfeld's reign, and Louis Féraud Haute Couture. One marriage, one divorce, and travel to 23 countries inspired a screenplay she optioned to Robert Altman at Cannes. Back in Paris, a blunt pep talk from Robert De Niro at Café de Flore (Just remember-nobody's better than you) motivated her move to LA, designing costumes for Director Marc Forster's film and Showtime before surrendering to her passion: writing. Journalism was her entree and inspiration . Interviews for The Hollywood Reporter, Latino Leaders, Latin Style, US, Celebrity Weekly, La Prensa and Latin Heat with Javier Bardem, Penélope Cruz, Diego Luna, Antonio Banderas, Gustavo Dudamel and other creatives inspired Judi to find her niche. Enter vampires. Research for a Mexican vampire script-for hire led to a five gothic novel series. Her time-travel vampire series, "A History of Blood", earned Cinequest finalist honors, Coverfly Top 3% ranking. Ghostwriting 22 screenplays, two pilots, and ten books keeps the lights on-and the vampires fed. Contributing to Latin Heat remains a joy: celebrating Latino creatives whose imagination and talent enrich the world. @judijordanwriter
