The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has selected 395 members from different branches of membership, to receive an invitation to join one of the most prestigious entertainment related entities. The membership of AMPAS is composed of artists and executives who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to theatrical motion pictures.

The Academy’s Board of Governors voted on branch-specific guidelines to be applied in determining this year’s new membership invitees. Twenty-four Latino talent and creatives are among the invitees in the various branches of membership.
