Three Latina artists stand out in the inauguration program of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as President and Vice President of the United States, on Jan. 20th in Washington, D.C. Demi Lovato, Eva Longoria, and Jennifer Lopez will have a role in the upcoming inauguration.

Lopez, one of the best known Latina performers in the world, will sing at the Inaugural Ceremonies taking place on the west front of the U.S. Capitol.

Lopez has reportedly sold over 70 million records that include the hits On the Floor and Waiting For Tonight. She has also starred in many films like Selena and Hustlers, both of which earned her Golden Globe Award nominations.

“Jennifer Lopez, considered one of the most influential Latin artists in the country, is an award-winning actress, singer, dancer, producer, and businesswoman hailing originally from New York City,” says the Presidential Inaugural Committee in a press statement. “Lopez and her partner Alex Rodriguez have been outspoken about the disproportionate impact of coronavirus on Latinos and the need to contain the virus, rebuild the economy, and unify the country.”

The other performers are Demi Lovato, the singer of hits like This Is Me and Sorry Not Sorry and Lady Gaga, who will sing the national anthem.  Joining these ladies in the star studded lineup are Foo Fighters, John Legend, Bruce Springsteen, Justin Timberlake, Ant Clemons, and Jon Bon Jovi, all of them performing from different locations across the country.

Later in the night, Longoria will join Celebrating America, an entertainment program to be broadcast live. Hosted by Academy Award-winning actor Tom Hanks, the prime-time event will showcase the “American people’s resilience, heroism, and unified commitment to coming together as a nation to heal and rebuild,” according to organizers.

Longoria will introduce segments featuring stories of young people making a difference in their communities and musical performances. The Desperate Wives actress will share that task with Kerry Washington, the twice Golden Globe nominee of Scandal and Django fame.

Celebrating America will be carried live by ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, MSNBC, and PBS. It will also be streamed live via YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Twitch, Amazon Prime Video, Microsoft Bing, NewsNOW from Fox, and AT&T DIRECTV and U-verse.
